- 2 ounces rye whiskey
- 1 ounce sweet vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Orange peel, for garnish
- Maraschino cherries, for garnish
- Rub the orange peel around the rim of a cocktail glass, then drop the peel into the glass. Add 2 maraschino cherries to the cocktail glass.
- Half fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the whiskey, sweet vermouth and bitters. Shake to combine contents, then strain into the cocktail glass over the orange peel and cherries.
